What is Covered in This Privacy Policy?
This Privacy Policy covers Bread's treatment of personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") that Bread gathers when you are accessing the Site and when you use any part of the Service. Furthermore, this Privacy Policy covers Bread's treatment of any Personal Information that Bread's business partners share with Bread. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Bread does not own or control, or to individuals that Bread does not employ or manage.
Information Collected Automatically.
We may receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with the Site and/or Service. Bread may choose to automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you requested.
Bread uses "cookies" to collect non-personal data and information. Cookies are small text files a Site uses to recognize repeat users, and is typically placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Your Personal Information.

When you open an Account, Bread will ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, e-mail address, and home or work address, and/or telephone number (collectively, your “Personal Information”). Bread may also collect general demographic information, such as your age, gender, ZIP code, preferences, and interests. Bread may also collect information about your visit to the Site, such as pages viewed, links clicked and other similar navigation action in connection with the Site. Additionally, Bread collects certain standard browser information, such as your browser type, IP address, and access times. It is your responsibility to give us current, complete, truthful and accurate information, including Personal Information, and to keep such information up to date. Bread will not be responsible for any problems or liability related to inaccurate or incomplete Personal Information, whether due to your failure to update such Personal Information or otherwise.
(b) Use of Your Personal Information. Bread collects and uses your Personal Information to operate and improve the Site and better deliver the Services. Except as described in this Privacy Policy, your Personal Information will be used only by Bread and its controlled subsidiaries and affiliates, and your Personal Information will not be disclosed to any other third party without your consent. By accessing your Account, you may choose to share your Personal Information with select Bread partners so that they can contact you about their respective products, services or offers.
Bread may hire other companies to provide limited administrative and communication services on Bread’ behalf, such as hosting Sites, the processing and delivery of mailings, providing customer support, or providing credit card processing services. Bread has the right to disclose your Personal Information to these third party companies for the purpose of administering and maintaining the Site’s features, functions and operations. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only such Personal Information as necessary for them to deliver the respective services, and Bread does not authorize these companies to use your Personal Information except for the sole purpose of providing those services requested by Bread.
Bread may access and/or disclose Personal Information about you or your Account without your prior consent if Bread has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (i) comply with legal process or other legal requirements of any governmental authority; (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Bread (including the enforcement of our agreements); (iii) enforce the Terms of Service, which can be accessed at http://www.bre.ad/tos; (v) operate or conduct maintenance and repair of the Site or equipment as authorized by law; (vi) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Bread Site or members of the public; or (v) comply with a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, transfer of control, joint venture of other business combination.
(d) Security of Your Personal Information. The personally identifiable information Bread collects is securely stored within our database, and we use standard, industry-wide practices such as firewalls, encryption, and (in certain areas) Secure Socket Layers (“SSL”) for protecting your information. However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. Bread cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won't be intercepted while being transmitted to Bread over the Internet. Bread recommends that you not disclose your password to anyone.
(e) Collection and Use of Children's Personal Information. The Site and the Services are intended for general audiences, and Bread does not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children. During the registration process for an Account, Bread does collect age information, and if users identify themselves as under 13 years of age, Bread will block such users from providing personal information.
E-mail Communications.
Upon registration for an Account or using the Services provided by Bread, we may send you daily or weekly e-mails. If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please notify us by e-mail at [info@bre.ad] and include sufficient information for us to identify your account, including your name, email address and the specifics of your request. However, after you unsubscribe to cease receiving e-mails, Bread may still contact you via e-mail for administrative or informational purposes, including messages regarding the administration of your account and/or any services or events to which you have registered.
Advertisements Displayed by Third Parties.
Bread may allow third-party ad serving companies, including ad networks, to display advertisements on the Site. Ad serving companies may place a persistent cookie on your computer in order to recognize your computer each time they display an online advertisement to you, and as such, they may be able to compile information over time about whether you reviewed or clicked on advertisements they display. These companies may use this information to display targeted advertisements and may associate this information with your subsequent visits, purchases or other activities on participating advertisers’ Sites. Bread has no access to or control over cookies of these links to other Sites and organizations, nor does Bread have control over or access to cookies by Bread’s third-party partners or advertisers. Bread retains the discretion to amend or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time, in its sole discretion. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. If we make changes in the way we use your Personal Information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Site, and such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting.
